In 1958, Hollywood welcomed Italian actress Sophia Loren into their move business nest with a big shabang party at Romanoff's. Jayne, who loved making publicity for herself, went to the party (I believe she was uninvitied) and introduced herself as well as gently flashing her boobs, having all the attention focused on her rather than the new girl.
